This course provides a comprehensive exploration of current trends in adult education. Over the duration of the course, students will learn about the key concepts and theories of adult education, and gain a deep understanding of the historical development of adult education through different periods.

The course will focus on a range of contemporary practices and trends in adult education, including online and blended learning, competency-based education, personalized learning, and the use of technology in education. Students will also learn about lifelong learning and the role of project work and social learning in adult education.

Throughout the course, students will develop a range of targeted competences, including instructional design and delivery, assessment and evaluation, technological literacy, project-based learning, and social learning design and facilitation.
